Wildfire & Landscape Resilience Data Hub

Critical wildfire and landscape data exist across dozens of agencies, research institutions, and organizations, but it lives in silos. The inability to integrate and analyze this information across boundaries slows decision-making, limits policy options, and leaves valuable science underutilized at exactly the moment it’s needed most. 

CWI assisted in the initial needs assessment, planning, and development of the California Wildfire and Landscape Resilience Data Hub — a shared infrastructure designed to create an integrated view of critical data resources across the agencies and institutions working on wildfire and landscape resilience. The goal is to make decision-making faster, more accurate, and more transparent by ensuring that the data policymakers and land managers need is accessible, connected, and actionable. Development of the Data Hub is continuing with our partners at the California Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force.
