The Human Element - Film Screening & Panel Discussion

In partnership with the California Council on Science & Technology, CWI hosted a special screening of the film and following panel discussion with leading experts to explore our relationship with fire and how our collective actions shape our shared future with fire. Featured panelists included Alan Talhelm, Assistant Deputy Director of Climate & Energy at CAL FIRE; Chris Anthony, former Chief Deputy Director at CAL FIRE; Joelle Gallagher, Chair of the Napa County Board of Supervisors; and James Balog, Environmental Photographer, with opening remarks by John Melvin, Assistant Deputy Director at CAL FIRE.
