In March 2025, CWI united 70+ experts from across the insurance, public health and smoke, and urban planning and policy sectors to inform broader conversations around the use and application of wildfire data. Designed in tandem with the subsequent CA Wildfire & Forest Resilience Task Force Spring Regional Meeting, CWI’s 2025 Convening: Wildfire Data Workshop provided a coordinated approach to align and strengthen efforts to improve wildfire and forest resilience.
